500 days on from the start of the Canterbury earthquakes

It’s 500 days since Sept 4th 2010 (the night of the first big 7.4 earthquake) and Cantabrians (i.e. us) have endured 9500 quakes (and counting), which equates to about one quake (of magnitude 3+) felt every four hours.

DAMN!!! No wonder my nerves are shot!! Here’s hoping that there’s an end in sight soon. Although recent press conferences have alluded to it not being over for at least a decade yet!!
