Hello Kitty has not only taken over the world but is set to join the mile high club and take over the skies too.
The Taiwan airline EVA AIR, and Sanrio, the company that owns the Hello Kitty brand, have collaborated to launch a Hello Kitty themed aircraft. Althought there will no doubt be a few of you out there groaning, it is worth checking out the photos below for nothing more than pure entertainment value.
I think living in South Korea for 2 years must have rubbed off on me a bit, as I think this is so funny and totally awesome and would love to take a flight on this plane – if only to get the inflight Hello Kitty shpaed food and cushions! My other half would have a meltdown way before this though, just check out the photo of the check in kiosks and you’ll see why!
The 3 new Hello Kitty jets – called Apple Jet, Global Jet and Magic Jet – will fly from on different routes from Taipei for at least the next year (see the exact routes at the bottom of the page after the photos).
